For the past 16 years, our volunteers have been the heartbeat of our mission’s work. They are the innovators, the problem solvers, the warm greeters, and quite often the connections to a community beyond Lorain helping us expand our family!

Food + Clothing Pantry

Mondays: Sort intake clothing, unload food truck

Tuesdays: Distribution Team help, 1-5pm

  • Interior house reset 1x a week

  • Room flipper for resident changes

This Summer we teamed up with Girls Give Back and The Summer Market to raise money for My House. This was an amazing way to work together in the non-profit community and be able to fundraise a life-saving amount for WCWS.

How It Helps

Your donations help maintain an infrastructure that is safe while also allowing us to provide services in-house to help further the education of our residents. We are run by an all volunteer staff and a working Board of Directors who are passionate about helping the community.
